9/22/04 - Today's Washington Post reports that talks between hotel labor and management are going to resume on Monday, September 27, 2004. With negotiations resuming on Monday, a strike at the Hotel Washington that day is much less likely. The PM Centers meeting will be held as planned in the Hotel Washington. If there are any further developments, we will update the news on our website.
9/21/04 - As you may be aware, there is a possibility that hotel workers in Washington, D.C. will be on strike sometime in the near future. We do not know when (or if) the strike will begin or how long it will last.
The Hotel Washington is on the list of hotels that might be on strike but they have assured us that contingency plans are in place and service will not be interrupted. We are still planning to hold the PM meeting at the Hotel Washington but also looking at back-up space in case we need it.
