RESERVATIONS A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved at the Fairmont Washington, DC Hotel for out-of-town guests arriving on Wednesday, June 6, 2007, and departing on Friday, June 8, 2007. Make sure you identify yourself as part of the "EPA Ecological Thresholds in Aquatic Ecosystems Workshop" room block to receive the group rate of $162 per evening, plus applicable state and local taxes. This rate is the prevailing government rate for a single and double occupancy room. Reservations must be made by no later than Friday, May 4, 2007, and must be secured with a major credit card. Please be certain that the hotel provides you with a confirmation number for your reservation. After May 4, 2007, the official room block will be released and the hotel may charge higher rates and could be sold out. When making a reservation, please provide room and bedding preferences. The hotel will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability. Please be advised that requests are not guaranteed. A deposit equal to 1 night's stay is required to hold and confirm your reservation. Upon check-in, the deposit will be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. Any cancellation made by an individual must be done no later than 4:00 p.m., 72 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. Any room cancellation made after the 72-hour period or a no-show will be charged 1 night's room and tax to the credit card on file. DIRECTIONS Metro From Foggy Bottom Metro Station Take the escalators to the street level. Make a U-turn and walk away from the escalators. Continue to the corner of 24th Street, NW, and turn right on M Street, NW. The hotel entrance will be on the left corner of the block after crossing over M Street, approximately 4 blocks from the Metro stop. From the DuPont Circle Metro Station Take the DuPont Circle South exit. Turn left after exiting the Metro on 19th Street, NW. Turn right on N Street, NW, and continue to 24th Street, NW. Turn left on 24th Street, NW. The hotel entrance is on the next corner on the right. From Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) Exit the airport on George Washington Parkway West. Follow the signs to Rosslyn/Key Bridge. Cross Key Bridge into Washington, DC, and turn right onto M Street. Follow M Street to 24th Street, NW. The hotel entrance is on the left. The hotel is approximately 5 miles from DCA. From Dulles International Airport (IAD) Take the Dulles Access Road to Route 66. Take Route 66 East toward Washington, DC. Follow Route 66 over the Roosevelt Bridge. Stay in the left lane of the bridge and take the exit for E Street, NW. The exit goes to 20th Street, NW. At 20th Street, NW, turn left and go to M Street, NW. Turn left on M Street. Go 4 blocks and turn right on 24th Street, NW. The hotel entrance will be on the left. From Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) Exit BWI Airport and take Route 195 to Route 95. Next take Route 95 South to 495 West (the Capital Beltway) toward Silver Spring. Take Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue, South) for approximately 6 miles. Turn right on M Street, NW. Continue 8 blocks to 24th Street, NW, and turn right. The hotel entrance will be on the left. From the North Take Route 95 South to 495 West (the Capital Beltway) toward Silver Spring. Take Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue, South) for approximately 6 miles. Turn right on M Street, NW. Continue 8 blocks to 24th Street, NW, and turn right. The hotel entrance will be on the left. From the East Take Route 50 West. Route 50 becomes New York Avenue in the District. Take New York Avenue West and turn left onto 9th Street, NW. Turn right on K Street, NW, then turn right on 20th Street, NW, from the service road. Turn left onto M Street, NW, and then turn right on 24th Street, NW. The hotel entrance will be on the left. From the West Take Route 66 East (Washington). Follow 66 West over the Roosevelt Bridge. Stay in the left lane of the bridge and follow the exit for E Street, NW. The Freeway will end at 20th Street, NW. Turn left on 20th Street, NW. Turn left on M Street. Go 4 blocks and turn right on 24th Street, NW. The hotel entrance will be on the left. From the South Take Route 95 North to 395 North (Washington). Exit onto VA-244E/Columbia Pike. Merge onto Washington Boulevard toward Memorial Bridge. Take the George Washington Parkway North ramp toward US 50 West. Follow the signs to Rosslyn/Key Bridge. Cross Key Bridge into Washington, DC, and turn right onto M Street.
