| Purpose: | To bring technology available to Regional
staff for remote sensing, and how adding remote sensing
to ground based data enhances landscape characterization
that guides Regional enforcement, pollution prevention
and long term sustainability efforts.
Desired outcomes include understanding of, 1) the various remote sensing technologies that are applicable to environmental work, 2) how the remote sensing technologies integrate with land based data to assist Regions, States, Tribes, and Local Communities in landscape characterization for environmental purposes, 3) how to access the remote sensing technologies, both inside and outside of EPA , and 4) the relationship to the Global Earth Observation System of Systems. |
