Title: U.S. EPA STAR Environmental Bioinformatics Centers Post-Award Grantees Meeting

Purpose: This meeting will provide an opportunity for EPA to become familiar with the research that will be conducted by two new bioinformatics centers and identify any areas of overlap through which collaboration may be possible. The EPA STAR Environmental Bioinformatics Centers are supported by ORD's National Center for Environmental Research through its Science to Achieve Results (STAR) grants program. The Centers, in collaboration with EPA scientists, will bring together academic scientists and partners to develop and apply innovative computational methods to data from molecular biology and other studies to enhance the field of computational toxicology.
