Purpose: EPA's National Center for Environmental Research (NCER) is sponsoring a meeting to discuss research being conducted on the compliance behavior of firms with environmental regulations. Voluntary efforts beyond compliance, including environmental management systems (EMS), will also be discussed. Research presentations will cover behavioral changes in response to environmental information disclosures, such as the toxic release inventory (TRI), eco-labeling programs and air quality warnings.

The meeting will consist of a series of presentations by researchers from the NCER’s Science To Achieve Results (STAR) grant program, other EPA offices, and universities. Discussion will follow the presentations. The meeting is open to all who are interested in this research area.
