Area Attractions:
The AAAS Building is conveniently located at the corner of 12th Street and New York Avenue, NW, in the heart of the business district. It is near the White House, FBI Building, and the McPherson Square and Metro Center subway stops, making it easy to experience attractions such as Capitol Hill, National Mall monuments, and the World War II Veterans Memorial on foot. It also is within walking distance of the Convention Center and the Verizon Center, and is only 4.9 miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Although EPA does not have a contract for a block of rooms with local
DC hotels this year, a list
of nearby hotels is being provided for sleeping accommodations. If
you need or would like a roommate to stay with, please visit the Fellow

fellows have posted room-sharing needs as well.
