Title: Knudsen Cell Reactor for Catalyst Research Related to
Hydrogen Technologies
Trinity University students will design a full-scale Knudsen cell reactor system to enable research involved with hydrogen and fuel technologies. The critical design components will be fabricated and tested by the students before the final design is submitted for fabrication using additional funds in the future. Continued development of catalytic technologies will be integral contributors to both the economic viability of a hydrogen economy and the development of renewable fuel resources. This project will develop a new characterization tool that will allow for fundamental research into new bimetallic nanoparticle catalysts.
