Title: Solar Photovoltaic System Design for a Remote Community
in Panama
Northwestern University students will design and help implement cost-effective, solar power systems that will meet the electrical needs of Santo Domingo, Panama, in a culturally sensitive manner. Local solar power could replace the current energy sources of wood, gas and car batteries, reducing emissions and creating more energy independence.
