Title: Sustainable Community Development – Water Slow-Sand Filtration
John Brown University students will design and construct a slow sand water purification system for use by small communities. While many systems designed to be implemented on a community-wide level have remained too expensive, this project will design and test a water filtering system that is affordable, durable, and can sustain sufficient water flow for a community.
