Title:Place-Based Green Building: Integrating Local Environmental and Planning Analysis into Green Building Guidelines
Auburn University students will develop a methodology for a place-based approach to the green building rating system that considers buildings within their local environmental and social contexts. They will match various features of green buildings with local . Additionally, they will analyze regulations and incentives for providing those types of green features. Using Auburn, Alabama as an example the group will develop a methodology that is adaptable to different locations.
