2006 Environmental Research Grant Announcement Archives
The Science to Achieve Results (STAR) Program has four formal solicitation periods during the year -- January, April, August, and October. Look below for a partial listing of upcoming topics. STAR Requests for Applications invite research proposals from academic and non-profit institutions located in the U.S., And state and local governments. All forms necessary for completing an application are noted in the announcement and are available on this site (see below).

NCER seeks a candidate to fill a federal three-year post-doctoral research position in support of activities related to the Council for Regulatory Environmental Modeling (CREM), a cross-Agency institution established to promote consistency and consensus among environmental model developers and users, thus helping to ensure that the Agency's model-based decisions are legally defensible and politically credible because they are based on the best available, practicable science.The filing deadline for the position is April 30, 2006.
